SCUBA DIVING
Pulau Payar scuba diving excursions let you get up close and personal with Langkawi’s colourful corals and marine life at Pulau Payar Marine Park. Priced at RM390 onwards, the tour is inclusive of hotel and roundtrip boat transfers, entrance fee, diving equipment, meals, and insurance. The island is about 45 minutes away from Kuah Jetty and you can take either a catamaran or a speedboat to get there. Professional dive masters also provide a one-on-one guide for inexperienced divers. Pulau Payar scuba diving tours are about two hours long, where you can see schools of large fish that are absent from shallow waters, including mantel rays, barracuda, cod and snapper.

ISLAND HOPING
An island hopping tour is a must-do for any first time visitor to Langkawi as you can visit three prominent islets surrounding the main island. Available in the morning and afternoon, this half-day tour is priced between RM35 and RM50 per person (inclusive of hotel transfers). The Tasik Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maiden Lake) and Pulau Beras Basah (Wet Rice Island) islets allows for plenty of activities such as swimming in scenic fresh water lake, paddle boating, snorkelling, and sunbathing. HORSEBACK RIDING
Horseback riding is a great alternative if you’re looking to explore Langkawi’s verdant mountains and waterfalls. Priced at RM240 for a two hour session, riders are provided with quality riding gear such as saddles, safety hats and tacks while an experienced guide leads the way to the Seven Wells Waterfall in Gunung Mat Cincang. The leisurely ride then continues to Pantai Kok Beach and Telaga Harbour, where guests can enjoy a great view of the beach and yachts docked along the massive marina. Inexperienced riders can also opt for the 30-minute fun horseback ride (RM12o), where horses are led by staff on foot.
